Coast Young Professionals hosted 15th annual Black Tie and Blue Jeans Gala
The Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce rolled out the red carpet for young professionals and mentors across the Coast at their 15th annual Black Tie and Blue Jeans Gala.
Coast Young Professionals is an organization that works with up-and-coming professionals by helping them network and meet other people in their field.
Black Tie and Blue Jeans is an event that brings different industries and businesses together in one place to network, learn about one another, and to also just have a good time.
This year, there were ten recipients of the ‘Forever Young’ award, each of these ten people show true leadership in their community.
Among those ten were former Congressman Steven Palazzo, Biloxi City Councilman Felix Gines, and many more.
Jase Payne, chairman for Coast Young Professionals, tells News 25 what these individuals have accomplished. “The Forever Young Award is someone who has gone really above and beyond to give back to their community, to mentor young professionals, to go through the motions of making sure that their people in their industry, or at their business, or even just in their families, that are coming up and understand the power of networking, the power of using people in the community. To understand how you can further your goals and your career and really your lifestyle here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.”
Each winner was awarded a hand-drawn caricature that was unique to them.
