Registration open for Kroc Center Volleyball Academy
Registration is officially open for the Kroc Center’s Volleyball Academy.
The Kroc Center in Biloxi is hosting an incredible opportunity for children across the Coast looking to get more familiar with the game of volleyball.
The volleyball academy is open for both boys and girls ages 11 to 15 and practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Registration is open now until September 25th and the cost to participate is $75.
Athletics Coordinator of the Kroc Center Ramon Santiago says the academy is affordable for the young athletes while teaching them the basic fundamentals to hone their skills. “The more time they have on the court, the better they’ll be because this is a sports. Also muscle memory of how to you know how to pass correctly, how to set correctly. So, you know there’s not a lot of places to go to play at the cost that it is here. It will cost $75 for the whole entire time, you know, but in other places it costs over hundreds of dollars, even thousands, to play.”
