4-Star QB Deuce Knight transfers from George County

LUCEDALE, Miss. (WXXV) — On Sunday, junior quarterback Deuce Knight announced his decision to leave George County High School with plans to transfer to Lipscomb Academy, a private school in Nashville, Tennessee.

Knight is a 4-Star recruit, having just made visits to Notre Dame and Ole Miss over the weekend.

According to 247Sports, he was the top-ranked QB in the state of Mississippi for the Class of 2025, and is now ranked second for his position in Tennessee (10th in the nation).

Knight joins a Lipscomb team that already went 13-0 last season, and is coming off a 23-touchdown campaign as a sophomore sensation for the Rebels.

Brenn Moody is the new starting quarterback for George County, according to head coach James Ray.
