New director named at Stennis International Airport

Stennis International Airport has a new director.

The Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission just named Austin Jenkins to the role after a regional search.

Jenkins comes from the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority, where he managed the day-to-day operations of the two airports in that region.

He’s also a licensed commercial pilot and has an FAA remote pilot certificate as well.
