Ocean Springs Library to reopen August 14th
The Ocean Springs Library will be reopening its doors after renovations are complete.
A $1.6 million renovation has been in the works since September of last year and will be finished for a reopening on August 14th.
The building got a new roof and HVAC system, paint, carpeting, tile, lights, and a new circulation information desk.
The library also added new ‘maker’ space for events.
The library is planning a grand opening and ribbon cutting down the road.
Patrons can return to the library for books, research, and electronic resources when the building opens August 14th.
