Head Start Centers will Reopen Thursday

After some confusion among parents, Community Development Institute officials tell News 25 Harrison County head start centers will reopen on January 7th.
Head start was originally slated to reopen today but the transfer of operations pushed back that date. Parents should have received a letter in the mail detailing where they could find the most recent updates about the status of the centers.
The Gulf Coast Community Action Agency lost its federal funding in mid-December for failing to properly address abuse allegations which is why the CDI has since taken over.
If you have a child enrolled in head start, log on to cdiheadstart.org before Thursday to make sure there haven’t been any changes.
