Local church vandalized twice this week
A church in Biloxi has been vandalized not one, but twice in the span of three days.
On Tuesday, Miracle Temple AOH Church of God was robbed and vandalized.
The inside of the church was trashed, the locks on the door were busted, and the instruments were destroyed.
Just two days later, Pastor Gary Johnson entered the sanctuary and found ten bullet holes through the church’s glass window.
Johnson doesn’t know what exactly has caused these events, but he knows his church will get through these tough times together. “We’re just praying that God would see us through this. We don’t know why someone would choose our church to target, but we believe God has a reason for everything, but we want to be safe, and we want the community to let us know if they’ve heard anything or seen anything. Contact Biloxi police department or call me.”
The worship services are suspended while investigators continue to search for answers. If you would like to donate to the church’s cash app to help with repairs, you can find it on their Facebook page by clicking here.
