Riemann Family Funeral Homes holds Peace of Mind education seminar

A local funeral home is assisting the community in preparing for life after death.

Riemann Family Funeral Home held a peace of mind educational seminar, providing families with resources and tools to ease their minds with the stress of leaving behind their possessions.

At the seminar, guests learned the benefits of setting up a trust, the rights that a power of attorney has over ones assets, funeral planning, and other pre-planning arrangements.

Funeral Home President Chad Riemann says this type of planning alleviates a lot of pressure people face. “When you plan, a lot of anxiety can go away. When somebody passes away that anxiety, of course, is amplified. There are a lot of emotions involved. So, by making some decisions beforehand, it can alleviate a lot of that pain for the family.”

The seminar was held at the Donal Snyder Community Center in Biloxi.
