YMCA holds back-to-school foam party

Summer campers spent their day soaking up the sun and getting foamed in Ocean Springs today.

YMCA held their second annual Back-to-School Foam Party at Freedom Field. Children gathered from four different summer camps in Taconi, Vancleave, North Bay, and Back Bay to enjoy a day of getting foamed, jumping in bouncy houses, and playing yard games.

Gulf Coast Foam Party brought the foam and the fun.

The campers spent their summer participating in a variety of activities while staying hydrated. YMCA Site Director Apryl Rico said, “We swim on Mondays and Fridays. We like to go to the splash pads. Any park that has some kind of water activities for us. We’ve been doing water balloon fights, water races, anything maintaining, the water if we’re outside.”
