Firework sales slowly returning to normal

After Spending many Fourth of July’s six feet apart, the firework industry is slowly starting to pop off again!

Firework sales came to an abrupt halt after the pandemic began.

Now the emergency mandate has been lifted and firework sales are slowly starting to increase as people start celebrating holidays again with friends and family.

According to the American pyrotechnics association, firework sales are expected to increase by nearly $100 million.

“The way things been going they’ve been a little slow and you know it’s sporadic but it’s starting to pick up tremendously today and tomorrow of course,” Barbara Wilson of Wilson’s Fireworks said. “Some people will celebrate it today actually and others will celebrate it tomorrow.”
