Picayune Police arrest suspect in Walmart thefts through security door

Picayune Police arrested a suspect on Sunday accused of using a disabled fire exit to steal from Walmart.
47-year-old Joseph Hollingsworth was arrested in Tickfaw, Louisiana, by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office. He is charged with six counts of commercial burglary.
Hollingsworth is the suspect Picayune Police asked for help identifying after he was seen on security cameras going in and out of the Picayune Walmart, stealing items over a seven-hour period on June 27.
Picayune officials said detectives assigned to the case worked constantly to identify and apprehend the suspect. They also thanked Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Hollingsworth also is a suspect in thefts at the Northshore Boulevard Walmart in Slidell, Louisiana.
