Deadly Car Accident
A Harrison County police chase ended with one person is dead and another sent to the hospital.
Two people were ejected from their vehicle and a woman, 37 year old Shantel Seay of Saucier, is dead.
After Harrison County deputies tried to stop a vehicle at Canal Road and Landon Road in Gulfport for reckless driving.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, the vehicle, a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer, did not stop instead traveling at a high rate of speed.
The driver lost control of the car on Wolf River Road near Jason Drive where the vehicle rolled over several times. Both people in the car were ejected.
Seay, the woman who died, was the driver of the car.
The passenger was transported to garden park hospital. No word yet on his condition or their identities.
