Arrest made in Picayune homicide investigation

Picayune Police have made an arrest in the shooting death of Michael McDonald.

28-year-old Decorion Myers has been charged with first degree murder. He also faces an aggravated domestic violence charge, according to the jail docket at the Pearl River County jail.

The investigation originated on Morris Street. Officers were called to the scene Saturday night after McDonald’s roommate came home to find McDonald had been shot and was lying dead on the couch.
