Juneteenth Weekend Celebration

Monday marks Juneteenth, a federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans.

The City of Biloxi is partnering with the Movers and Shakers Social Club to host several Juneteenth celebrations this weekend.

3-on-3 basketball tournament starts today at John Henry Park at 5:30 p.m.

Saturday will include the 9 a.m. walk/run and 3 p.m. Juneteenth celebration.  Sunday is Family Day Picnic from 1 to 5 p.m.
