Waveland pastor receives backlash after sermon on Trump indictment

A Waveland pastor’s sermon has gone viral after he claimed Donald Trump’s indictment is ‘war.’

Shane Vaughn is a pastor at First Harvest Ministries. He has traveled all the way to Miami, Florida to support former president Donald Trump as he was taken into custody.

But while he’s there, a video of his sermon has caught the eye of nearly 300,000 people and the replies are not good.

Pastor Vaughn says he did not mean war in the literal sense, but that Christians must go to spiritual war for the country.

Vaughn explains this and what it was like today is Miami. “The entire court house, all the way around it, was just wrapped with a sea of people and there was just nothing but peaceful protest. It was beautiful to see the people gathered there from all over the nation to support President Trump. The time for just saying a prayer has passed. It is time for you to do more than that. You must get up, show up, and do something.”
