Suspect in Raceway armed robbery arrested in George County

A suspect in the May 29 armed robbery of the Raceway gas station in Moss Point has been arrested in George County.

Moss Point Police say Austin Blake Butler was arrested Monday in George County on an unrelated felony warrant during a traffic stop in Lucedale.

Butler had been identified as the suspect in the armed robbery. During the traffic stop, evidence was collected in relation to the robbery.

Viewers may remember the photos from the Raceway showing the suspect brandishing a long-barreled revolver.

Upon his release from George County, Butler was be taken to Jackson County to face the armed robbery charge.
