Bomb Threat at Learning Center in Gulfport

The Gulfport Learning Center’s first day back from Thanksgiving break was interrupted by a false bomb threat.
The center received a call about a bomb threat from an anonymous person around 8:45 this morning. School officials immediately evacuated about 70 students from the building as the Gulfport Police Department and the Gulfport Fire Department searched the campus for anything suspicious.
After the search was declared all clear, students and faculty were released back to class and resumed a normal school day.
The investigation is still ongoing.
