Back Bay Mission holds town hall on homelessness

Back Bay Mission held its third town hall on homelessness this evening.

This event, held at Ground Zero Blues Club in Biloxi, gave residents an opportunity to learn about homelessness in the community and engage with the panelists on the topic.

Guests were able to ask questions and get information on how they can help resolve the homeless crisis.

Back Bay Mission hosts theses events to help showcase the issue and give information on homelessness that some citizens would otherwise not know. Back Bay Mission Executive Director James Pennington said, “So for me it’s important to dispel the myths, to hopefully move the conversation forward, because I think in a country like ours where we have a lot of resources, we should be able to deal with homelessness, right?”

Back Bay Mission hosts these meetings quarterly throughout the year.
