3/28 – Jeff Vorick’s “Drier Times Ahead” Tuesday Evening Forecast
Showers and thunderstorms have exited the picture after a cold front has pushed through our area. Winds have shifted to a northerly flow across South Mississippi behind it. Temperatures tonight will plunge into the 50s, with even some 40s possible inland.
Clouds will clear out tomorrow while afternoon high temperatures will be much cooler than what we have seen. High pressure to our north will move to its east gradually through the middle of this week. Winds will gradually shift from northeasterly to easterly through the day tomorrow.
Thursday will mark the beginning of a return to warmer temperatures. Clouds and rain chances increase towards the end of this week as a system coming out of the Rockies will move to its northeast. A cold front will make its way towards South Mississippi this weekend.
