Biloxi pole vaulter Julie Segroves breaks her own state record again

Over at Biloxi High School, sophomore pole vaulter Julie Segroves raising the bar once again, literally breaking the state record and her own personal record three times in one day.

During Friday’s Biloxi Gulf Coast Classic meet, the former News 25 Student Athlete of the Week, two times over, cleared 13’5”, then 13’6”, and finally, 13’7”, up from 13’4” last month and pushing her all the way up to third in the nation.

Addison Deeks and Kate Kuykendall placed second and third respectively, as the Lady Indians swept the podium in pole vaulting.

Next up, the team travels to Gainesville, Florida for the Florida Relays.
