March of the Mayors food drive ends Friday
This Friday is the last day you can donate to this year’s March of the Mayors food drive.
Eleven mayors across the Coast have again agreed to participate in the canned food drive organized by Extra Table.
For the past three weeks, each city has been collecting a specific item that will benefit Extra Table’s partner food pantries on the Coast.
Check with your city to see what item you can donate and where you need to drop it off.
Friday is the deadline.
Mark your calendar for the Coast’s largest ‘food box packing party’ next Thursday, March 30.
That’s when volunteers will gather at the Lyman Community Center on Highway 49 in Gulfport to pack a piece of each city’s collections in boxes to be delivered to area food pantries.
The packing party starts at 9:30 a.m. on March 30th.
