Pascagoula Police Officers Needed
The Pascagoula Police Department is in need of new recruits to help keep the community safe.
The department is looking to fill four entry level patrol officer positions as soon as possible. Anyone interested can pick up an application at City Hall or fill one out online at www.cityofpascagoula.com/police-department.
The department currently operates with 60 patrol officers but many are either retiring or relocating. Lt. Doug Adams said, “Some of them finish school and decide this is not exactly what they want to do. So once you get into law enforcement, after about the second or third year, you either decide to stay or you decide maybe this isn’t for you.”
