Biloxi Chamber of Commerce Presents the 33rd Annual Biloxi Seafood Festival

Biloxi Chamber of Chamber of Commerce presents the 33rd Annual Biloxi Seafood Festival, September 13th and 14th, Point Cadet Plaza, Biloxi.

The Biloxi Seafood Festival is a celebration of the history and heritage of the seafood industry in Biloxi. The event features continuous live entertainment, arts and crafts and of course delicious Seafood. Saturday, the festival will open at 10:00 a.m., with Biloxi’s own Justin Kennedy building a 100 foot shrimp poboy, front and center in front of the stage and will end with U.S The Band closing out the festival 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Sunday, September 14 the gates also open at 10:00 a.m. but you will want to stick around for the Sun Herald Gumbo Championship, which begins at 1:00 p.m. and lasts until 3:00 p.m.

“This is a very special year for the Biloxi Seafood Festival,” said Biloxi Chamber of Commerce Director, Rachael Seymour. “The festival is moving back to Point Cadet Plaza, which is the event’s Pre-Hurricane Katrina Venue and our committee is thrilled to be back on the Point.”

Admission is $5 at the gate but the best value is the $15 All Access Wristbands, which offer attendees admission and re-entry all day Saturday and Sunday as well as admission into the Sun Herald Gumbo Championship, Sunday, where attendees sample gumbo from contest participants and help pick the winner of our People’s Choice Award. All Access Wristbands are available at a discount of 2 for $25 at all branches of The Peoples Bank as well as at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Office, 11975 Seaway Road, Gulfport, MS.

Biloxi Seafood Festival’s entertainment will start Saturday with Sista Jazz, Back Alley, Alamiss, Southern Halo and U.S The Band. Sunday’s line up is Glen David Andrews Band, Dikki Du and the Zydeco Crew and Tim Gross and the Blue Blazes. Additionally, the Department of Marine Resources will host a myriad of seafood education demonstrations.
