12/25 – Brantly’s “Clear, Cold, and Frosty” Christmas Night Forecast

High pressure will build right over the forecast area Christmas night with skies expected to remain clear or mostly clear with just a few high clouds. This should set the stage for a colder night with some northern areas approaching hard freeze conditions and some southern areas approaching a brief light freeze.

Surface high pressure will remain over the eastern to central Gulf coast region over the weekend. The cold air mass will finally start to modify. Temperatures will remain cool Saturday, but a bit warmer with highs in the mid to upper 50s under mostly sunny skies and fairly light winds. Sunday will see the dry weather and warming trend continue after a cold start to the morning.
