Will Hall flips Taylorville’s Ty Keyes from Tulane to Southern Miss
With almost any coaching hire simply the idea of a fresh start is enough to bring excitement to a program.
Good thing for the Golden Eagles their new coaching hire is actually creating excitement on his own.
Over the weekend, Taylorsville quarterback Ty Keyes announced his decision to sign with Southern Miss over Tulane at the start of the early signing period of Wednesday.
A three-star recruit according to 24/7 Sports, Keyes decommitted from the Green Wave last Sunday once Will Hall had gotten the job at USM.
Keyes flips to the Black and Gold following a banner career as the Tartars QB, graduating as the state’s all-time leader in total yards. He also ranks second to St. Stanislaus alum Myles Brennan in both career passing yards and touchdowns.
To cap it all off, Keyes became the first Taylorsville QB to ever win three state titles earlier this month.
