Former Shucker Trent Grisham wins NL CF Gold Glove
Time for the WXXV play of the day which goes to former Biloxi shucker Trent Grisham.
Tonight, the San Diego Padres center fielder won his first-ever Gold Glove, beating out Cody Bellinger of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Ronald Acuna Jr. Of the Atlanta Braves.
The former first round pick of the Milwaukee Brewers was second amongst all center fielders with six defensive runs saved which puts him behind just eight other players in all of Major League Baseball.
On offense, Grisham hit for an average of .251 to go along with 10 homers and 10 stolen bases.
