Gulfport PD investigating shooting in the area of 26th Street

The Gulfport Police Department is investigating a shooting in the area of the 1800 block of 26^th Street.

On August 14^th, 2020 at approximately 7:08 p.m., the Gulfport Police Department was notified of a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they located a female suffering from a gunshot wound. The female was transported to a local area hospital.

The Gulfport Police Department is encouraging anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the Gulfport Police Department or Mississippi Crime Stoppers.
