Planet Fitness will require face masks inside gyms starting in August

Planet Fitness will freeze you out if you don’t wear a mask.

The national gym chain says anyone working out in its locations will be required to wear a face mask at all times beginning August 1st.

If a member has a medical exemption preventing them from wearing a mask or if they simply prefer not to wear one, the company will freeze their membership until masks are no longer required in its clubs.

All of the company’s locations will be equipped with disposable masks for members or guests that do not have one.

All Planet Fitness employees are also required to wear masks.
