‘Mississippi Boats for Trump’ holds second parade

‘Mississippi Boats for Trump’ held its second boat parade Saturday afternoon on the Pascagoula River.

The group, which only started in June, estimated around 500 boats participated in Saturday’s parade.

On July 4th, the group caught the attention of many as over 200 boats sailed along the Coast during its first event.

Founder Bo Smith was inspired to start the group after seeing states like Alabama and Florida put on similar events on YouTube and Facebook. “Everyone decorates their boats different. Some of them put flags up. Some of them will put banners up. It’s just, everybody’s different. They decorate their boats how they want to decorate them. Everybody has different flags. We’re not expecting the numbers we had, but, you know, with all the storms Donald Trump has weathered, I think it’s the least we can do to weather one for him.”

The next ‘Boats for Trump’ Parade will be held August 8th in Biloxi Bay.
