Starbucks customers must wear masks starting July 15th
No mask, no coffee. Coming soon at Starbucks.
The coffee chain says it will start requiring customers to wear facial coverings or masks starting next Wednesday, July 15th.
Starbucks says customers who don’t want to wear a mask inside can order from the drive-thru or do curbside pickup or delivery.
The mandate will be in effect in all 9,000 of Starbucks’ company-owned stores in the U.S.
The company says the move is part of its continued effort in prioritizing the health and well-being of its employees and customers during the pandemic.
Starbucks has made its workers wear a mask or facial covering since April as part of broader changes it put in place to safeguard against covid-19.
