COVID-19: 608 new cases, 13 deaths statewide

The latest number of COVID-19 cases has been released today after technical problems. As of today, the Mississippi State Department of Health reported 608 new cases of COVID-19 in the state and 13 deaths.

The statewide total stands at 19,091 cases and 881 deaths.

Here’s a look at cases by county in our area:

• Hancock County has 98 cases and 12 deaths
• Harrison County has 319 cases and seven deaths
• Stone County has 34 cases and no deaths
• Jackson County has 344 cases and 16 deaths
• Pearl River County has 219 cases and 31 deaths.
