Statewide travel incidents over Memorial Day Weekend

Mississippi Highway Patrol has released the numbers from statewide totals during the Memorial Day Weekend.

Those numbers include:

• 6,511 citations issued
• 157 collisions. Of those collisions, 10 were DUI related
• Two fatal collisions
• 153 DUI arrests

Troop K in Biloxi investigated 22 wrecks over the same period.
