05/04 – Brantly’s “Mostly Sunny” Monday Afternoon Forecast
After a beautiful weekend here on the Gulf Coast, the sunny, dry stretch continues. Highs today will get up to the mid 80s under mostly clear skies. Overnight, cloud coverage will increase slightly as temperatures stay mild, only dropping to the upper 60s on the coast and mid 60s for inland areas.
Tuesday looks to be the warmest day of the week with highs shooting up to the upper 80s with some locations hitting the 90-degree mark. Heat index values may make it feel even warmer as humid air flows into the region. After Tuesday, temperatures will gradually cool down each day through the end of the week.
Severe drought conditions continue for the Coast. This week, rain chances remain low at only 20 to 30 percent on Wednesday and around 30 percent on Friday and Saturday.
