WXXV Pet of the Day: National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day

Today we are featuring our WXXV Pet of the Day, but it’s also National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day.

So, we’ve got three pets for you that are in need of a loving home at the Jackson County Animal Shelter.

Pluto, Maeva, and Chessy have been waiting for you and are ready to be a part of your family.

Pluto is a pit mix about one year old. He is neutered and microchipped and up to date on his shots. Pluto knows how to sit, he’s good with kids, and great on a leash. He is fun loving and has a great temperament.

Maeva is a female lab and pit mix about five years old.  She is good with kids and dogs and great on a leash, and spayed. Maeva sits on command and loves everyone she meets.

Chessy is a Shepard and pit mix about three years old. She’s great on a leash, good with kids, and loves everyone she meets. Chessy is okay with dogs and sits for treats.

To adopt, they are $25 each and come with a free microchip.
