Saints not conducting summer workouts

No matter how the NFL offseason plays out after the draft, New Orleans Saints Head Coach Sean Payton already has his mind made up.

According to ESPN’s Dianna Russini, Payton told his players yesterday there won’t be any kind of offseason workout program this summer.

Reportedly saying, “Show up in July for training camp in the best shape of your life, take care of your families, your health and be ready this summer.”

As the first known NFL figure to test positive for COVID-19, Payton is also the first known NFL coach to relay such a message to his team.
