Driver escapes serious injury in rollover accident near mile marker 31

According to Harrison County Fire Marshal Pat Sullivan, the driver of an eastbound SUV near the 31 mile marker on I-10 escaped serious injury this morning because they were wearing their seat belt.

Mississippi Highway Patrol investigated the accident around 9:30 am and Harrison County Fire Rescue and AMR responded to treat the driver, who was transported to a local hospital.
