Ship Island Excursions opens Saturday
It might not be summer yet, but you can pretend this weekend while setting sail to Ship Island!
Ship Island Excursions is back for the season. Starting Saturday, you will be able to cruise over to Ship Island and spend the day in the sun and sand.
Many events around the Coast have been canceled due to the Coronavirus outbreak, but the folks over at Ship Island Excursions have been taking extra care to make sure their facilities are clean and ready for the public. Captain Louis Skrmetta said, “This is a great place to get away and quit worrying about the Coronavirus scare, all the fear that is being passed around, everyone has been freaking out over it. I will tell you. We do offer a lot of space on these boats. This is a 110 foot vessel. The crowds will be very low starting in the spring. They won’t be very crowded. We are taking extra precautions trying to be proactive with extra cleaning, hand sanitizers available, the usual thing to help make people on our cruise as safe as possible.”
