Authorities searching for wanted fugitive last seen in Stone County

In McHenry, authorities are searching for a fugitive wanted in Florida and Stone County.

Jessie Hughes was last seen running from Stone County deputies near East McHenry Road. He is described as a white male with green eyes and brown hair. He is about 6’3” tall and weighs about 200 pounds.

Hughes is wanted out of Florida for drug charges and out of Stone County for assault on police officers.
