Sebastian the Dog ready to find ‘fur-ever’ home
Sebastian the Dog had a rough start to life, found tied to a tree in Biloxi earlier this year.
Through ‘Just Cause Rescue,’ Sebastian has been living the good life in a foster home the last couple of months, where he underwent surgery to get 16 teeth extracted, caused by biting himself from a suspected flea allergy.
The once neglected dog is now fully recovered! He’s leash and crate trained, knows ‘sit’ and ‘leave it’ commands, and loves to shake and give toothless kisses.
Foster Mom Wendy Kennedy says he’s ready to find his forever home. “Sebastian had his surgery about a month ago. Since then, he’s become a totally different dog than he was. He is now playful, energetic, and no longer in pain. He’d do better with no dogs because not having any of these or his canines, when a dog tries to defend itself they use all four canine teeth to bite down, and he no longer has those or at a home with older dogs that are real chill.”
Wendy says as far as extra dental care for Sebastian, there isn’t any. He’s eating dry food, bones, and treats with his back teeth.
Go to ‘Just Cause Rescue’ or ‘Wendy’s Prints for Paws’ on Facebook if you’re interested in adopting Sebastian.
There will be a home screening and a vet check to ensure he’s going to a great home.
