9/19 – Brittany’s “Quiet” Monday Night Forecast

This evening will be quiet and cool with lows averaging in the low 70’s. The rain free conditions will continue.

The heat continues to build mid-week through late week, as anomalously strong ridging continues to amplify over the central US. As discussed yesterday, the overall magnitude of ridge strength and influence on the local area is nothing considered extreme, but is noticeably very strong enough to support above- normal temperatures continuing. Decided to go ahead with a slight warmer nudge in MaxT`s as confidence in mid to upper 90`s is looking greater across the area, with near-record (to a few locations breaking records) likely.
