Boys and Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast hosted ‘Day for Kids’

The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast hosted a Day for Kids to enjoy and celebrate the life changing work that takes place at Boys and Girls clubs each day.

By encouraging adults to spend meaningful time with young people and engage in fun activities, this year’s theme was happy, healthy, and hopeful kids.

Children enjoyed food, healthy snacks, music, games, arts and crafts, science experiments, face painting, cornhole, and three-on-three basketball. Chief Operations Officer Wayne Buchanan said, “This is a time, no matter if you are young, middle-aged, or maybe a little seasoned in age to come out and be a kid and have fun and just have a good time and a time of fellowship.”

Boys and Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast has six clubs serving over 5,500 children annually.
