St. Baldrick’s Foundation holding ‘Rock the Bald’ Fundraiser

You are invited to have some fun in the park on Saturday while also raising money to help fight childhood cancer.

St. Baldrick’s Foundation is hosting a ‘Rock the Bald’ event at Bayou View Park in Gulfport.

Tomorrow’s event honors children in South Mississippi who are currently battling cancer or some who have lost their battle.

St. Baldrick’s is a nonprofit that raises money for childhood cancer research and treatment. This is their first fundraiser on the Coast and they’re hoping to shave 100 heads to help raise money.

There will also be music, food trucks, and a huge silent auction, including a Blue Dog painting worth $3,500.

It’s all happening at Bayou View Park Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
