Connie Moran reacts to arrest

Connie Moran spoke out today following her arrest, claiming the whole ordeal was a misunderstanding.

News 25 reached out to her today on the incident and she said in part: “I had walked out of my house on Washington Avenue, down my driveway to the street to call my pets inside, and I slipped on the hill and hit the side of my head very hard on the concrete as well as my elbow. I could have had a slight concussion, but I was not unconscious due to intoxication.”

Moran goes on to say: “I’m grateful the police stopped to help me, but I wish they had simply helped me back into my home.”
