Dak Prescott undergoes thumb surgery

Bad news out of Dallas, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is out six-to-eight weeks after going under the knife to repair the thumb on his right throwing hand.

During the fourth quarter of his team’s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football, the Mississippi State alum hit his hand on the hand of linebacker Shaq Barrett, saying he could no longer grip the ball.

Prescott was 14-29 with 134 yards and a pick prior to the injury.
