Customers ranked the City of Pass Christian’s fishing guides and crews as the best in the south.

FishingBooker, America’s largest platform for booking fishing trips, compiled a list of the locations with best-ranked fishing crews in the south.

Charter fishing crews in the city hold an average rating of 5 out of 5 stars in customer reviews and those customers had nothing but positive things to say about fishing guides and their crews.

The most mentioned attributes in customer reviews are the crews’ flexibility, friendliness, and skill. Charter Boat Commissioner for Mississippi Ronnie Daniels said, “I’ve literally had people from all over the world come right here to fish on my boat. Australia, France, Italy, South America, we are a world-renowned fishery.”

Shaggy’s Restaurants Co-Owner and CEO Rimmer Covington Jr. said, “For these captains to be recognized for what they built over the last ten years or so, has been truly gratifying to see.”

Shaggy’s owns the docks the charter crews operate out of, Covington said there are plans for a future expansion of the docks.

The expansion is hoped to be completed by next year.
