12/30 – Brantly’s “Clear and Cool” Monday Afternoon Forecast
After a weekend of cloudy and foggy conditions, we are seeing clear, sunny skies all across the Gulf Coast today.
Now that a cold front has passed through, it’s feeling less humid and temperatures are cooler. Highs today will only top out at around 60 degrees. Tonight, lows will drop to around 40 along the coast and into the upper 30s for inland locations.
Similar conditions are expected for New Year’s Eve.
On New Year’s Day, we will start out with mostly sunny skies, becoming mostly cloudy in the afternoon. Rain moves in on Wednesday night and continues through Thursday night. Some thunderstorms can be expected during the day Thursday, but for now the severe weather threat is low.
