Arrest made in shooting that injured three in Long Beach

A Long Beach man is behind bars with three felony charges after allegedly shooting his girlfriend and her parents.
Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson says 32-year-old Deon Woods was arrested Sunday and charged with two charges of aggravated assault and one count of domestic violence-aggravated assault.
The shooting allegedly stemmed from an argument Woods and his girlfriend were having at a mobile home park on 28th Street.
When deputies arrived to the scene, they found the three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Two were transported to a local hospital while one victim was airlifted to USA Medical Center in Mobile.
Woods initially fled the scene, but was caught by Long Beach police near where the incident took place. He’s currently being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
