34th annual Christmas on the Water

All aboard for yet another Coast tradition, the last minute planning stages for the annual ‘Christmas on the Water’ boat cruise are finally finished.

The 34^th parade is set to kick off at 6 p.m. Saturday night. More than 30 boats are fully decorated and ready to set sail.

This parade has run consecutively since 1986 and never missed a year, including the year of Katrina.

Be sure to stick around once the parade is over. Following the event is a firework show.
