Local museum burglarized

Gulfport police have made an arrest after several tools and other items were stolen from a local museum over the weekend.

Police arrested 55-year-old Michael Johnson on a charge of burglary of a business after employees of the Mississippi Aviation Heritage Museum discovered the burglary.

Several of the stolen items were found at a nearby business. Police also located Johnson in the area.

He was transported to the Harrison County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
