Watch party attendees at Infinity Science Center react to Artemis 1 launch being scrubbed
Stennis Space Center in South Mississippi played a vital role in the development of the Artemis missions, they were responsible for testing the four RS-25 engines that will power it.
That’s why Infinity Science Center was hosting a watch party for today’s launch. There were plenty of visitors who came, eager to see Artemis 1 blast off.
While the launch was scrubbed, guests still had fun partaking in NASA activities such as coloring stations, building an Orion capsule, drawing Artemis, and designing patches. Watch party guest Addison Cunningham said, “I was super excited to see the spaceship launch. I even woke up at 5:30 a.m. and drove an hour.”
Watch party guest Eliana Watson said, “I was really excited to watch this spaceship because it’s a really important spaceship. I was really sad it was cancelled.”
NASA will try launching Artemis 1 again Friday.
